Aaron Heckman, 60th Maintenance Squadron Air Force Repair and Enhancement Program technician, cut the ribbon for the MXG’s AFREP at Travis Air Force Base, California, Aug. 15, 2022. Heckman was previously stationed at Spangdahlem, Germany, which has an AFREP and started the process for Travis AFB to get one. The 60th MXS AFREP estimates to save the Air Force upwards of $500,000 in the first year.
