Worms, Germany. 25th August 2019. The Lord Mayor of Worms, Adolf Kessel, and the Rhine-Hessian wine queen Anna Göhring ride in an open horse-drawn carriage in the parade, waving to the crowd. The first highlight of the 2019 Backfischfest was the big parade through the city of Worms with over 70 groups and floats. Community groups, music groups and businesses from Worms and further afield took part.
