Kirkleatham Redcar Cleveland UK 22 October 2016: A vigil was held in Kirkleatham Woods today to remember a small dog which had been found last Wednesday buried alive and with a large nail driven through its head in an act of inexplicable cruelty. Vets were called and the dog was put down. The vigil was attended by about 200 people many with dogs. Flowers and tributes were laid at the spot where the dog had been found. Motor Cyclists from the Crown Bikers MCC also attended. In connection with the original crime two men aged 59 and 60 have been arrested and bailed. © Peter Jordan_NE/Alamy Live N
