Head a little wider than long, with the anterior margin sinuate. On either side of a median excavation is another very slight jexcavation. The posterior portion of the head is not wider than the anterior por- tion. The eyes are small, trans- versely ovate, compound, and situ- ated on the extreme lateral margin about the middle of the head. The first pair of antennae have the basal article very much dilated; it is longer and about twice as wide as any of the following articles. The first antennae reach almost to the end of the second article of the pe- duncle of the second pair of anten- uiv.
