PHILIPPINE SEA (Aug. 24, 2021) Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer USS Barry (DDG 52) fires it’s Phalanx close-in weapons system (CWIS) during a live-fire gunnery exercise. Barry is deployed supporting Commander, Task Force (CTF 71)/Destroyer Squadron (DESRON 15), the Navy’s largest forward-deployed DESRON and the 7th Fleet’s principal surface force.
