Columbians living in London protested at Trafalgar Square in solidarity with striking farmers in Columbia. The farmers are being squeezed by free trade agreements with the US, Canada and the EU which have introduced monopolies on farming inputs and have undervalued outputs. They accuse their government of corruption and bowing to foreign-owned corporate interests at the expense of Columbian people.
