The swimbladder of this individual proved to be a tubular structure lying above the anterior part of the stomach. It is club-shaped, measures about 13 mm. in length and contains a regressed gas- gland and rete. An artery and vein run into the posterior part of the organ and can be traced back to the backward section of the kidneys.
