Franklinite with calcite and zincite. In this sample, franklinite, (Zn,Fe,Mn)(Fe,Mn)2O4 (zinc iron manganese oxide), and calcite, CaCO3 (calcium carbonate), are dominant (black and white minerals), with small patches of red zincite. Franklinite and zincite are both important ores of zinc.
