Patton, born in Mifllin county,Pennsylvania, a daughter of William Patton, of English descent. Chil-dren: I. Harry, died at the age of sixteen months. 2. The American branch of the ancient Irish family of IrvinIRVIN was established in the United States by Andrew Irvin, theimmigrant, who left Ireland about 1812, and located inCecil county, Maryland. He lived there for several years before hemigrated to Center county, Pennsylvania, where he farmed, led a quietand retired life, and where he and his wife eventually died.
