Thomas Fellowes only placed £6 16s. on his prize pen, the second was marked at £[In the turkey class] won by Mrs. A. Guy's, the Cambridgeshire blood "hailed from" Grantham. Lord Hill got the only high commendation in it, and that for black Americans; and throughout the whole of the pens there were a large number of whites; but the decisions ran on dark, rich-coloured birds'.
