pineapples in modhupur
Farmers in Madhupur, Tangail have traditionally been fond of producing pineapples in vast tracts of land. This year they planted pineapples in about 8,000 hectares of areas across the upazila. These photos taken recently show that farmers there are passing a busy time cultivation of pineapples. The juicy fruit has a rich market as it is not only delicious but also packed with vitamins and minerals like vitamin A and C, calcium, potassium and phosphorus. So, harvesting this seasonal fruit is considered profitable for farmers, as well as, eating it is immensely beneficial for health.
