This lot attracts attentionfrom the peculiar appropriateness of the design of its twofreestone (xothic monuments, and the care that is evidentlybestowed upon the lot itself. Every thing about it looksneat and in good taste, and devoid of any attempt at dis-play. The original owTiers of this lot were partners in thewell-known publishing house of Little, Brown & Co., ofBoston. The remains of Mr. Brown rest near the monu-ment bearing his name. Simple headstones mark the placeof burial of members of the two familes. The monument erected to the memory of Dr. Shaip, latepastor of the Baptist Church in Charles Street, will next beseen upon the left side of the avenue.
