The voyagerupon its waters is bewildered bythe multitude of channels and in-lets, the unexpected opening ofnew vistas of blue water, theseemingly exhaustless resourcesof delight to the sense of extreme eastern and westernpoints of the lake are scarcely adozen miles apart, but the shoreline measures about 115 wonderful length includes; inaddition to countless bays anddeep arms, as well as long pointswhich nearly divide the lake, theshores of some ten or a dogen is.
