042412: Raleigh, – Customs and Border Protection announced today that the Global Entry program is fully operational at the Raleigh-Durham International Airport (RDU). Global Entry is a quick and easy way for trusted travelers to get out of line, cut their average wait time by 70 percent and get an express pass through the international arrivals area. Announced as a pilot program in 2008, Global Entry was established as a permanent voluntary program this year and is now operational at 25 airports and seven Canadian preclearance sites.
