War ship Hercules standing in the pipeline, 1782, Johannes Schoenmakers, 1782 print The still unfinished line ship Hercules standing in the pipeline in the shipyard outside Dordrecht, April 1782. The construction of the ship took place in the period 1781-1782 to shipbuilding drawings by Pieter van Zwijndregt on the new shipyard of Scheepstimmerman I. Spaan. The launch took place on April 12, 1782. On the back of the print some scribbles and sketches. A pendant belongs to the print.
