Gaza, Palestine. 11 May 2022. Relatives mourn the death of Mahmoud Sami Aram, 28, in Khan Yunis, in the southern Gaza Strip. Mahmoud was shot and killed by Israeli soldiers near the Jabara military checkpoint, south of Tulkarem, in the northern West Bank. According to the Israeli army, Mahmoud was shot while trying to illegally cross the West Bank barrier. Aram, who was originally from Khan Younis in the southern Gaza Strip, was temporarily in the West Bank for medical treatment
