Perfectly hardy south of Newr York. THE OLIVE FAMILY. Flowering Ash, JFraxinus Ornus.—A very handsometree with pinnate leaves, rounded crowns, and of a grace-ful habit, with large masses of creamy-white flowers tingedbrown late in spring. A fine, showy tree for shelteredpositions south of New York. Fine as a specimen on alawn or by the margin of a lake or river. Perfectly hardyin Europe and growing luxuriantly as far as the fifty sixthdecree north latitude. IV. ORNAMENTAL SHRUBS.
