Tunnel vision. Patient's-eye view of mountainous countryside, in a patient with tunnel vision. This symptom involves the loss of peripheral vision, resulting in a constricted circular tunnel-like field of vision. The eye disorder that most often results in tunnel vision is retinitis pigmentosa, a degeneration of the retina that can lead to total blindness. For the same scene, seen by a patient with normal vision, see C003/7140. Photographed in Snowdon, Wales, UK.
