Although it looks like the sheep are grazing on meadows, it is actually the Hollowell Reservoir bed, which has been exposed to the sky without water, allowing plants to grow on it which the sheep seem to love. Hollowell Reservoir in Northamptonshire is extremely low, around 50% of its normal level.
