NAVAL BASE KITSAP-BREMERTON, Wash. (June 22, 2016) – Boatswain’s Mate Seaman Kasey Ringwalda, a native of Dayton, Ore., uses a grinder to remove paint from deck station 11 on board the aircraft carrier USS Nimitz (CVN 68). Nimitz is currently undergoing an extended planned incremental maintenance availability at Puget Sound Naval Shipyard and Intermediate Maintenance Facility where the ship is receiving scheduled maintenance and upgrades.
