Army Capt. Kerstin Amezcua, an optometrist from the 176th Medical Detachment based in Seagoville, Texas, is currently serving as one of the vision specialists here at Camp Arifjan, Kuwait. Amezcua said she joined for an opportunity to receive better education benefits while serving her country and helping keep her fellow Soldiers in the fight.
