Prince Rupert, British Columbia is a major coastal city and harbour on the Inland Passage near the border with the Alaska panhandle. It is a hub for wildlife tourism in the area, and for fishing, forestry and mining. The icebreaker Polar Prince called in at Prince Rupert near the end of its 150 day trip from Toronto to Victoria through the NorthWest passage.
