Cress (Lepidium sativum), sometimes referred to as garden cress (or curly cress) to distinguish it from similar plants also referred to as cress is a rather easy plant to grow. This plant can be easily grown indoors on a windowsill in a small pot. It grows very quickly, and if kept moist will produce a crop in about 3 weeks.
