1911 Steamroller, manufactured by Richard Garrett & Sons Ltd at their Leiston Works, UK. This steamroller was used in Palta Water Works by the Calcutta Corporation (left). 1925 Steamroller, manufactured by Marshall Sons & Sons Ltd at their Britannia Iron Works, Gainsborough, UK. This steamroller was used towards construction and repair of roads of Calcutta from 1938 to April 12, 1975 by the Calcutta Improvement Trust (right). Now these are being exhibited at the Birla Industrial & Technological Museum (BITM), Kolkata. India.
