AUSTIN, Texas — The Texas National Guard Counterdrug Task Force held a Change of Responsibility Ceremony to transfer authority from outgoing Army Lt. Col. Erika Besser to incoming Counterdrug Coordinator Air Force Lt. Col. James Cobb on May 6, 2022, at Camp Mabry in Austin, Texas. The Texas Counterdrug Task Force has supported federal, state and local law enforcement to detect, interdict, and disrupt drug trafficking, manufacturing, and use throughout the state for more than 30 years.
