Theentire cost will probably not be less than $45,000, and when completed will be one of thefinest improvements which has been made up-on the line of any road in the country. Theframe work for renewing two or three of themost important bridges has also been prepar-ed, and will soon be put in place. The pro-prietor, Mr. Bowler, and the Superintendent,Colonel Withers, are exerting themselves toput the road in better condition than it everhas been since its opening.
