The young King Louis XV of France, 1710 - 1774. Known as Louis the Beloved, he acceded to the French throne at the age of 5 and ruled until his death 59 years later at the age of 64. After an etching by Jean Denis Nargeot from a painting by Hyacinthe Rigaud.
