A freighter tied up at a dock in the harbor of the coastal community of Hofn. The town is one of the few inhabited areas in East Iceland. In addition to having a harbor for shipping in the area it is also a center for tourism in the summer months. The freighter is a local ship as the Hornafjordur under the ship's name refers to the name of the fjord on which Hofn and its harbor are located. In the background is a cloud shrouded view of some of the mountains that are found throughout the region.
