The inner edge, where the side is sewn to the batist, consists of a decorative edge of connected ovals on which Halfoval 'gates', with a cross in a cross in each other. The motifs are made in a cut-off and linen stroke with openwork edges. They are equipped with contour wires and in a single leaf the leaf veins are accentuated with clost relief contours. Forms are applied in petals and to realize the ornamental grounds in the oval (flowers). The motifs are connected by a braid soil with picots. The sloping edge is finished with picots.
