Dedicated to St Nicholas the patron saint of merchants and seafarers this church dates to the early 13th century It is now a museum with important medieval church art and a venue for concerts Although it survived the Lutheran Reformation in 1523 it was damaged by air raids in 1944 renovated damaged by fire and rnovated again
