28/11/16 As the cold front sweeps in with blue skies and freezing temperatures, Tony Tregenza throws a frisbee for his pug Fergus by the Black Pearl pirate ship, made completely out of driftwood, on New Brighton beach with the Liverpool skyline and Royal Liver Bird building in the background. The boat was built in 2013 by local artist Frank Lund and his friend Major Mace using materials found on their beach walks. The work of art has survived numerous storms and being set alight by vandals and is now a popular spot for tourists and locals alike. There was even a pirate wedding held on its deck last year.
