Raleigh, NC, United States June 20, 2020 - Close up of a Black Lives Matter flyer taped to a pole in front of the graffiti covered base of the Confederate Civil War monument outside the Old Capitol Building. After weeks of protests sparked by the police killing of George Floyd, on June 19th protesters succeed in pulling two figures off of the 75-foot tall column and the next morning the Governor of NC ordered it and two other Confederate monuments to be removed.
