Playfighting. Sumatran and Amur Tigers play durring a snowy weekend at Dudley Zoological Gardens, Zoo, UK: PLAYFUL images show a tiger socking its pal in the face during a snow fight that got out of hand at Dudley Zoo. One image shows the two tigers play fighting, one receiving a bop on the nose from its playmate until the other ran off to roll about in the pure white snow. These images capture an Amur tiger, the largest tiger in the world, and a Sumatran tiger, the smallest subspecies of tiger. Sumatran tigers can grow to eight feet long and weigh up to 310 pounds, whereas the larger Amur tiger can reach weights of 660 pounds and lengths of 10 feet. These images were taken by photographer Talvinder Chohan (40) in Dudley Zoo, UK, using a Canon EOS 5D camera. ?The weather was a challenge, and my hands were barely moving,? said Tal. ?Persistence paid off and I was fortunate the animals were in a playful mood. ?I had spent a lot of time these two individual tigers, so know their habits and I was able to capture some rare and precious moments. ?The images for me show the spirit tigers have, as well as their beauty. ?The other interesting aspect is you can see the difference between the two subspecies in terms of size and coloration, both are of the same age. ?Dudley Zoo is a great example of a Zoo that helps with conservation, through education and donating to in-field mediadrumimages/TalvinderChohan
