This plan shows quite a number of good features which are as follows: — The two bedrooms on the left hand side of the house open off a small separatehall which is also common to the bathroom and a small linen closet. The bathroom and the kitchen are immediately adjoining which would tend tosimplify the plumbing layout. The flues for the furnace, living room fireplace, and kitchen stove can be run upin the one chimney stack. The small dining alcove off the kitchen is excellent. Means have been provided to get to anil from the cellar from the outside withoutpassing through the kitchen. Cross ventilation has been provided for all bedrooms. A rather unfortunate point in this plan is the fact that the veranduh practicallyshuts all sunlight out of the living room. This could easily be
