Little church rock, Simonside Ridge walk, Northumberland, UK

Little Church Rock is an isolated outcrop of fell sandstone hidden within the forest of Simonside Hills. Its name may be a reference to its use as a gathering place. A set of cup marks in the stone, possibly over 4000 years old, are thought to be man made.
