We Begin Again Many girls who come to college leave homefor the first time. It is their first experience inindependence. Never before have they been awayfrom home and mother and father for more thana few weeks. Gaining ones independence is among theapproved list of achievements. Psychologicallyit is a big break away from habits of a life little guidance from an older, more experienc-ed person at such a critical time might changepermanently a girls attitude toward life, andaid in social adjustment. There is not a community which does notremark of its college boys and girls that somereturn the worse for their college and mentally and si)iritually, collegefails some of us. Isnt there a remedy for the situation? Onthe one hand we have a faculty, people withsuperior intellect, splendid education, broad ex-perience, scientific understanding. On the otherhand are students young, impulsive, lacking thediscretion of maturity, following their ov/ncours
