The Chapel of the Knights in Bodrum Castle converted to a mosque after final capture by the Turks with its soaring minaret


When the former crusader knights of St John Hospitallers were defeated by the Ottoman Turks and Bodrum castle was taken, the Chapel of the Knights was sympathetically converted into a mosque with a minaret without destroying the original Christian interior.
