A portable tub (Fig. 153), similar inprinciple to the one in the admitting roombut made of wood covered with copperfor lightness, set on a wheeled stretcherframe of the same height as the beds, isalso provided. This may be taken to anyroom, the patient transferred to it, andbathed with a spray attached to thefaucet at the scrub-up sink. A floordrain in each room receives the wastewater from the tub.
