1 July 2018 - A firefighter walks through the burned Winter Hill moorland as fires ignite around him. Fire crews from across the UK have converged on Winter Hill to control the blaze which is growing by metres per hour. Lancashire Fire and Rescue and Lancashire Police are leading the response to the 'major incident'.
