Ryan Batt, a member of the Idaho National Guard Biathlon team, competes in the opening sprint event at the Chief National Guard Bureau Biathlon Championships in Soldier Hollow, Utah, on Feb. 25, 2018. During the sprint event the biathletes ski three laps for a total of 10 kilometres ( mi) for men and kilometres ( mi) for women.
