The Metropolitan Cathedral of the Resurrection of Our Lord Jesus Christ is the main place of worship in the city of Ravenna, Italy. The current building is the result of a radical intervention occurred in the eighteenth century , consisting of the demolition of the cathedral, the basilica Ursiana, and building a new one in Baroque style. The cathedral was elevated to the rank of minor basilica by Pope John XXIII on October 7, 1960.
