The colostrum cor-puscle is considered by some as a degenerated leukocyte (Czerny).They are amebic and phagocytic and are found at times to containbacteria if such are present in the breasts. The coloring matter of 88 NUTRITION AND INFANT FEEDING colostrum is contained in the colostrum corpuscle.
