Mark 'Skidmark' Parsons Arrow Wheels competitor within the ERC Series at Hampton Downs, south of Auckland NZ in 2010. Genuine Triumph TR7 V8.

Marl 'Skidmark' Parsons has a reputation of being an extremely competent rally driver, with a very sideways style. When competing on a race track, he is extremely spectacular. and although 'drifting' isn't the fastest way around a corner, Mark uses tyres nearing the end of their useful life and simply enjoys himself, The TR8 is a genuine car and has an extensive rally history in NZ, especially in Targa rallies. The Hampton Downs race complex was the brainchild of Chris Watson, Tony Roberts and the late Geoff Manning. The circuit was initially supposed to be financed from the profits from the sale of 80, 2 bedroom trackside apartments, on what was Waikato farmland, but a combination of factors caused a costly delay. The first race meetings were run late 2009 and the official opening was January 2010, with much of the organising of entrants by festival chairman, Jim Barclay.
