Let's give Staff Sgt. Valerie Elizondo from the 81st Aerospace Medicine Squadron a shout-out for being chosen as the Warrior of the Week during this week's staff meeting! As the executive assistant for the 81st AMDS, she managed seven flights and a $10 million budget. Elizondo also developed and oversaw the unit's Continuous Process Improvement program. Her astute attention to detail and operational knowledge drove 39 process improvement events that resulted in saving the Air Force $150,000 and 10,000 man-hours per year.
