This painting, titled The Mill, was done by British artist Sir Edward Coley Burne-Jones (1833-1898). Burne-Jones as a fascinating colorist, and his water colors were noteworthy for their brilliancy and purity of color. He corresponded with Ruskin and was a friend of Rossetti and William Morris.
