A day of action initiated by the TransJustice Audre Lorde Project, a lesbien, gay, bisexual, two spirit, trans and gender non - conforming people of color and allies, was held in lower Manhattan. These protesters many who are transgender demanded the end of profiling, harassment and brutality at the hands of the police.
