Scales longi- tudinally striated, 33 p, 3 between lateral line and ventral, 12 round caudal peduncle. Olive-brown above, yellow beneath ; lips and barbels dull flesh-colour; fins pale yellow, shaded with dull yellowish brown. Total length 350 millim. Interior of South Africa. 1.
