'Henry Fitzroy, Duke of Richmond', c1534, (1902). Portrait of Henry FitzRoy, 1st Duke of Richmond and Somerset (1519-1536) illegitimate son of King Henry VIII and his young mistress, Elizabeth Blount. FitzRoy was the only one of his illegitimate children that Henry acknowledged. He died of consumption.
