Contemporary architecture. View of the geodesic dome of the Vancouver Science World Centre in Canada. The geodesic dome was invented by Richard Buckminster Fuller, the US architect. The method uses interlocking triangular pieces and supports which spread the structural loads evenly across the whole dome.
