We suggested thathe also needed treatment,but our host said: Oh,he dont amount to any-thing and is not worth thebother. My friends! Iclaim this man is no fan-cier. His heart is not inhis work; he does not lovehis pets! He was willingto bother with the littlehen simply because shewas valuable and repre-sented a few of his dol-lars; but in a very dif-ferent way he passed thelittle cockerel and lefthim to suffer. This samebreeder told us there was. So 1 say, if you would be a fancier, choose your line, but if you findheart perhaps we cannot be quite as enthusiasticas the young mother referred to above,but we can frankly say you. havemissed a great deal of real pleas-ure. The writer knows of nopastime (and he has tried agreat many) that edualsthat of the Bantam fancy,and it comes so nicely tothe busy man or womanwho has but a few sparehours
